1 scoop of quick oatmeal
1 - 2 tablespoons of natural peanut butter
This is about 370 calories and sticks to your ribs.
Or, substitutete Better N' Peanut Butter Brand peanut butter for about 1/2 the calories. It tastes like peanut butter, a little sweeter but less calories if you want to cut down the calories.
But there is nothing like real peanut butter. USE NATURAL peanut butter because it is lower in sugar.

Diet Tip For the Day - MONDAY
Well, today is the beginning of a new week. Do you use Monday as a check in, or check out day ? Do you use it as an excuse to cheat on your diet? Or, do you use it to reinforce your good habits after coming off of the weekend ?
Here is a tip.......... when on the go......... Subway does have meals that are lower in calories. You can load up the veggies. If you get a 6 inch sandwich and some BAKED LAYS, and an ice tea or water you can get out of there for about 600-650 calories which is pretty good. It will probably be higher in carbs because of the bread so this is a good lunch !!! Quick, easy and relatively reasonable in price !!

O.K. So here is the diet tip for the day everybody!! Ready?
Purchase some dixie cups. The kind for rinsing your mouth. You want to purchase these and MEASURE out your Bear Naked Brand Granola. It is 1/4 of a cup is one serving.
So:
You need to put the granola in the measuring cup, then put it in the Dixie cup. This will tell you the height it needs to be.
So, why is this important ?
If you only fill the Dixie Cup (to the approx. line from when you measured) you will be less tempted to bury your hand in the bag or pour out more than a serving into your hand.
The Key Here Is CONTROL.
Bear Naked Granola is about 120-160 calories per 1/4 serving depending on the kind you purchase. IT IS LOWER IN SUGAR than GREEK YOGURT.

Diet Tip for the Day
Be disciplined. Take your plan and stick with it. The more you stick to your plan the easier it will be. Remember, it is a lifestyle. Once you see the pounds fall off, you will not want to go back to indulging.
If there is something you crave, have it. All things in moderation. This makes me think of something someone shared with me recently. It was about the 50th gate of wisdom. I read the bible a lot and had no idea what this was so I googled it.

Diet Tip for the Day - Multi vitamin
Incorporate a multi vitamin to you diet. Take one a day and the best kind are the kind you chew up so it actually is absorbed into your body. Most people are deficient in some sort of vitamin or mineral because of what you eat. Unless you have the time to go to the grocery store and buy 42,000 different kinds of foods and store them you are most likely to be deficient in one of the vitamin categories.
I did a metabolic study that took my body fat and measured my bodies ability to process oxygen. At the end, the instructor or technician showed me some software that will actually program your diet for you. You can pick from a list of things and it will calculate your calories as well as your vitamins that are in the foods you eat.
For me, it was too complicated to keep all those things around my house for when it was time to eat. Plus, I'm sure I would wind up wasting alot of the food. So, to avoid this problem, a multi vitamin is an excellent option.
Remember, your body is like a machine. Just like you need to keep the right oil in your car so that it runs properly, so too you need to keep the right chemistry in your body to make sure it runs and processes in the correct manor.
So, the tip for today is remember to take your multi vitamin!! (Heck, that is easy!)
