Is bread good or bad for your diet ? That is a big question. The question is, "What is the truth?" Well, whole grain is better than white for you. Remember, all things in moderation. Here is a strategy that works with bread.
If you are having a sandwich, have 1/2 of the bread. Just the bottom piece for example. You still get the bread, just not as much.
If you are having bread, which is o.k., have it mid day for the lunch meal. Is it the end of the world if you have it at dinner, no. Just remember, the later meal is better to have less carbohydrates for weight loss because most of us are less active at night.
If you buy bread, buy the ones from a deli or individual bagel that way you don't have a loaf sitting around if this fits your needs. Obviously if you have a family, you will need to have more than one or two servings around.
